The Merry Wedding (Bridal Dance) for Concert Band is based on the Percy Grainger Composition The Merry Wedding, originally written for orchestra, choir, and organ in 1916.  This piece is in the public domain, and makes for a great concert band piece, and is similar in character to Grainger’s Lincolnshire Posey and Children’s March.  In this arrangement I’ve incorporated sounds and instruments that did not exist at the time of the original piece’s writing, such as Harmon mutes and Vibraphone.   Grade 4
